Based on self evaluation, the management of Politeknik Pos Indonesia conducted some acceleration by entering the Development Program Stage II. The program aims to build the excellence of Politeknik Pos Indonesia in the national level especially in vocational education in logistics and supply chain management with the motto “toward national center of excellence in integrated logistik and supply chain vocational education”. In this stage, the development program focuses on three strategic issues, which are relevance, quality, access with four strategic programs as follows:

1. Improving the relevance of study programs to the national and international environment marked by the improving of graduate quality and graduate absorption in working industries.
2. Developing conducive academic atmosphere marked by the optimal interaction between students and lecturers inside or outside classroom and laboratories, the disciplinary of academic environment in following the standard operating procedures.
3. Improving the efficiency and productivity of study programs marked by the on time finishing of academic program, study time appropriate with the curriculum time, minimal of drop out number, improving new students’ qualities. In addition, optimalize cost conciousness in human resources (staff fte, rasio of lecture-student), physical resources (room and equipment utilities), and money resources (pressing the unit cost, and working budget).
4. Improving the access opportunities to education for students who have academic potencies but have economic problems.

Those fourth programs mandated by the Strategies Program become the basis in preparing every program, whether through internal or external budget development.
